Been involved with Joomla since 2005 in most aspects and found a niche as a reluctant programmer of sorts that builds customs extensions for my clients and local agencies. My pet interest with Joomla development lately is creating horizontal or n-tier'ed extensions that can be reused and shared by other extensions to reduce custom code and stop data being silo'ed in vertical solutions. I also seem to get challenging, in a good way, work connecting Joomla to non-web based applications for clients, creating online portals for their business data.
